Overview
The University of Twente offers a fully funded scholarship for international students pursuing a Master's programme in the Netherlands. Recipients receive between €3,000 and €22,000 per year, with the possibility of a second‑year award if academic criteria are met. The award targets the top 5‑10 % of applicants and can be used for any study‑related expenses. No IELTS is required for applicants from English‑speaking countries, and the scholarship is open to candidates from all nations, including Nigeria.
Who can apply
- Citizens of any country (eligible for all nationals)
- Must hold a (conditional) admission offer for a Master's programme at the University of Twente
- Must have a university student number (or be a current undergraduate at UT)
- Must meet Dutch entry‑visa requirements where applicable
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 (plus speaking sub‑score 6.0/20) unless from an English‑speaking country
- Must not be eligible for a Dutch study loan
- Typically must be among the top 5‑10 % of your class
